Forbidden Love
A secret life went on behind the large gothic winows
of the Priest's House that served as the home of the
priest of the church across the street. Legend tells
of a priest torn between his love of God and that of
a nun. In the end he married her secretly and hid her
away in a secret room in the house where their forbidden
love florished. As fate would have it, one day the
Priest was called away on parish business and upon
his return he found his beloved wife dead in their
secret room. The cirucumstances surrounding her death
or the exact cause of her death have never been known
but claims of ghosts haunting the home linger on.
A ghostly monk is often seen wondering
the house, but whether this is the priest looking for
his wife is not known, and the cause of the banging
doors that a tenant swears he always heard is also
not known.
