Most Haunted In Whales
Considered the most haunted in Whales this Jacobean property was buit in 1610 by Sir John Trevor. Legend has it that one of the later owners "Hanging" Judge Jeffries would often hold court in the home and have those convicted immediately hanged in the dining room.
Paranormal activity in the home includes the sound of heavy breathing in one of the bedrooms, and glowing white lights that seem to be candles passing by the windows even when the home is empty.
A young girl who is probably around 6 years old can be found in the Blue Bedroom. She is harmless and makes frequent but short visits before disappearing.
Sir John Trevor found out in 1743 that his wife was having an affair and shortly after she was found dead under mysterious circumstances and Sir John, saddened and angry about her death went wild and took his horse and carriage and started driving wildly on the property. The carriage ended up flipping, seriously injuring Sir John and after lingered in agony in the Regency Room for a month before dying. To this day he can be felt in the room, it is said he has pushed people, grabbed them and the current owners Great Dane's often running yelping from the room.
