Home of Henry James
Henry James lived in this very nice Queen
Anne home from 1898 until the time of his death. He always
claimed there was poltergeist activity in the home and
that a ghost of an old lady would often visit him to
help him out with his writing. No one else experienced
this activity but a photographer did catch something
on film that appeared to be the old women.
After the death of Henry James the home
was owned by author E. F. Benson and then owned by another
author Rumer Godden both of whom claimed Henry James
claims were true because they had the same experiences.
Rumer Godden then had the home cleansed and blessed by
a priest.
