Mirror Mirror on the Wall
Woodbine Cottage is the original name of Edenhall
Hotel and the oldest parts of the hotel date back
to the mid 17th century. The interior of the house
is eclectic, a misture of styles thrown together
with a bit of abandon.
Of the several ghosts who are said to reside at Edenhall
Country Hotel is a female who haunts Room 25. Guests staying in the room
often wake to see her sitting at the bottom of their bed or see her materializing
out of the mirror while they are in the bathtub.
At one point the bar area had a lot of mirrors on the
wall but the owner had to remove them because of constant staff sightings
of someone appearing in the mirror. Once the mirrors were removed the
ghosts did not stop and you can still see the ghost of an old women going
to the chair in the corner and sititng down to watch the activity.
Since a remodel of the hotel, room numbers have changed
so if you are looking to stay in the huanted room #25 be sure to request
Room #4 as that is the old room #24.
