Rudyard Kiplings Home
This wonderful 17th century manor was
purchased by the famed Rudyard Kipling in 1902 where
he stayed until his death in 1936. As with most great
men, part of you stays behind after your death. In the
case of Rudyard Kipling, he left behind, not only his
writing, but a part of himself. He is said to reside
in his study, where he did what he loved to do and that
which he was born to do, and that is write. You can often
find him staring out the window of his study, perhaps
looking at the beautiful grounds to gain inspiration
and insight.
